Profit Through Management (PTM) is a specialist management consultancy. Its focus is the business of law.

PTM applies the skills and experience of Pieter Oomens.

Pieter graduated in law in 1979 and was admitted to practice in that year. Throughout his 40-year career, Pieter practised in all states of NSW and in Federal jurisdictions. In 1996 he became an accredited specialist in commercial litigation. He is a graduate of the directors program of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Fellow of the Institute.

As a lawyer, Pieter specialised in commercial litigation, commercial transactions and insolvency law.
Pieter became an equity partner of his firm in 1988 and established its Commercial Disputes and Transactions Group, which he ran for many years before assuming the role of managing partner. On retiring from the firm Pieter continued on as a consultant before establishing this management consultancy.

During his time with his firm it grew from a small practice based in Sydney to one with a national reach (and including New Zealand) with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle.

Pieter was instrumental in expanding the scope of services provided by the firm and the introduction of a range of management and IT initiatives.
